Bio/Description

Born and raised in New Jersey, My is a part of the class of 2026, pursuing a degree in African-American Studies on the Race and Public Policy track,  along a minor in English. She was drawn to the AAS department by its small community, renowned faculty, and stimulating courses. In her studies, My is most interested in studying different modes of policing, specifically in lower-income communities.

Outside of class, she is a barista at coffee club, co-president of club field hockey, DEI co-chair of the Triangle Club, a member of the mock trial team, and a data annotation researcher with the sociology department. 

In the future, My hopes to pursue law school
