Bio/Description

Claudia is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Politics. She specializes in Political Theory with interests in theories of reparations, African American political thought, and the Black Power movement. More specifically, her dissertation project seeks to explore the intellectual contribution of the Black Panther Party, using the Black Panther Intercommunal News Service as the project's main primary source. Claudia's main argument is that the Black Panther Party was engaged in a dual process of disclosure and world-making, both of which deserve further interrogation.

Before coming to Princeton, Claudia received a B.A. in Political Science at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City.
