Hailing from Uxbridge, Massachusetts, Anastasia Achiaa is a third year student at Princeton majoring in African American Studies, while minoring in Journalism and African Studies. In her studies, Achiaa is predominantly interested in the black maternal health rights, the establishment of Democracy in black nations after the effects of colonialism, and the evolution of the black body as a “natural” resource. On campus Achiaa has been involved in many student organizations and is currently the Artistic Director for Princeton African Student’s Association annual fashion show Sankofa, as well as the President of the Twi Language Table. In her free time, Achiaa enjoys photography, editing, styling, and planning events.
