Bio/Description
Amber Stanford is a doctoral student in the Religion in America subfield. Her interests reside in the religion, politics, and movement of twentieth-century Black communities. Prior to arriving at Princeton, Amber received an MA in history from the University of Bristol and an MPhil in theology, religion, and philosophy of religion from the University of Cambridge on the British Marshall Scholarship. She also completed a BA at Georgetown University, where she studied government and theology. In her spare time, Amber enjoys the NYT crosswords and Spelling Bee.
