Bio/Description
Alison is a member of the class of 2026 from Philadelphia. She was drawn to AAS because of its interdisciplinary approach, and is particularly interested in the intersections of race and the humanities. Alison plans to primarily focus on history within AAS, but is also pursuing minors in English, Religion, and American Studies, using those fields to help contextualize the study of Black histories. She is passionate about archival research as a way to uncover forgotten and untold stories, and plans to continue studying Black history after Princeton toward the goal of working as an archivist or historian. Alison is also a Peer Academic Advisor for Butler College.
