Interviewing is a critical skill you need for your entire professional life.
This cohort group will cover the basics of interviewing and the different types of interview questions, and provide an opportunity to build confidence and skills in a small, friendly, supportive environment. You will also have an opportunity to practice interviewing with an alumni volunteer.
By the end of this group, you will be able to:
- Understand types and stages of interviewing
- Learn types of questions and strategy
- Identify at least three go-to stories to be used in most of interviews
- Answer the question: "Tell me about yourself"
Participants are required to attend all three meetings on November 1, 8 and 15 at the Center for Career Development, Room 208.
Space is limited. Registration deadline is October 24.
Please note that face coverings are required for in-person events held by the Center for Career Development. A face covering will be provided for you if you do not have one.
PLEASE NOTE: Photographs and recordings taken at Department of African American Studies events by anyone authorized by Princeton University may be used in publications, both electronic and print, at the discretion of the University and the Department of African American Studies.
