Interested in joining an undergraduate class?
Here are the steps to participate:
- Confirm with the instructor the requirements for receiving audit credit for the course. The requirements typically involve writing a course paper or passing the final examination, but requirements vary from course to course, based on the faculty member.
- Enroll in the course through TigerHub.
- Complete the Course Enrollment Worksheet. You will select Grade Option Change under Action and write “Audit” under the Grade Option Section (last column on the form).
Along with the form, you will need to either: 1) Write the requirements for audit credit on the form and have the instructor sign off on them, or 2) The faculty member can email the student’s approver directly with the requirements.
If the student is a senior, they will need their dean to sign off on the form. Otherwise, the DUS or academic advisor can sign. If the DUS or advisor is the instructor, the student will need the dean’s signature.
Once the form is signed, you will need to take it to the Registrar, and they will change the grading option to audit. Students have nine weeks to make the change.
